One man is seated on a baluster with his right arm resting on a short decorated column. He is dressed in a light colored plaid three piece suite, white shirt and dress shoes. He is holding a light colored hat. Man at right is standing in front of the baluster with his left hand tucked in his pants pocket. His right hand is behind his back. He is wearing a dark plaid three piece suit, white shirt, patterned tie and dress shoes. he is wearing a star shaped medal or pin and a watch chain.
Written on back: "1883 or 1884. Johnston a brother of Mrs. Louis Schack in business in Rawlins. Nathan Baker the older man here in 1885 according to CC Journal. Page 88 pix 8 1 1/2 x 1 1/2- 55% people-e. Stamped "26" on back.
Smooth edges. Front marked WJ Johnston Photographer. Writing on back has left indentation visible on front. Emulsion cracked in center.Collection
