A small paperback book entitled "Adventures in Old Wyoming, 1879-1884" by Peggy H. Benjamin. Book is a series of stories experienced and told by author's uncle, the late "Cap" Haskell. He spent five years as ranch foreman on the Seventy-One Quarter Circle Ranch, which later became the Wyoming Cattle Ranch Company on the Sweetwater. Included: Ute Uprising of 1879, Captain Jack, Ute sub-chief; Meeker Agency, Nathan Meeker, Major Thornburg; Fort Washakie; Nowood Creek;The Lost Cabin; The 71 Ranch; Independence Rock, Sweetwater State Station; Bear Ring Gulch; and other ranching stories.
