1909, Rubie Rivera tying a roped steer.
Update 5/2010: Black and white print card of a rodeo. A horse is holding a steer by a rope white the man is tying the steers legs together. another man is sitting horseback holding a flag in the air. When tying is complete he will lower the flag. Another man is walking and another on a horse are behind action. Spectators are behind a fence in the background. Some are seated in buggies. Printed in white on bottom on original negative: "Tying a roped steer, Rawlins, Wyo. Copyright 1909 by P.H. Healy". In blue ink: "Ruby [sic-Rubie] Rivera".
Printed on back in black: "Post Card" "Correspondence" "Address" "AZO" and a triangle in repeating pattern around "Place Stamp Here". Written in black ink: "I was 11 years old at this time. Dads name is spelled Rubie not Ruby. I am writing this Jan 1991. Picture is 82 years old."
Condition good. Scratched, soiled, edges worn, emulsion impacted.Collection
