Photo of Buffalo Bill.
Update - September 2010: Black & white contact print of a man with full mustache & goatee beard. His hair is dark & long & pulled back behind his ears then down his neck & over his right shoulder. He is looking toward photo right. He wears a large brimmed hat & a tweed suit jacket & matching vest with a light colored shirt & a bolo tie. Damages from original have copied - torn corners & light colored spots.
Written on the back in pencil: "Buffalo Bill" "He gave this picture of himself to Mr. & Mrs. Tom Sun Sr. & it was damaged when the Sweetwater flooded portions of the Sun Ranch during high water many years ago. They had copies made of the original picture but the water spots & damage to the original show in the copies. Given to me by Mr. & Mrs. Tom Sun Jr."
In black: "Mr. Sun & Bill Cody were scouts & guides at Ft. Steele together when picture given"
Good condition. Creased, scratched, irregular border.
