Photo of ten boys in uniform with a little cannon that was made at the Railroad shop for July 4.
Update - 2009: Black & white print. Mounted on tan matboard. Image of a group of 10 small boys in uniform standing in a line on a dirt field with a small cannon. Large stone factory (?) building in background.
Boy at right is larger & older? than the others; second in line is holding an American flag & appears to have a rope tied around his waist; all the other boys appear to be holding onto that rope; other end of rope tied to cannon handle.
Written in pencil on emulsion beside boy at right: "Kleber Hadsell."

Mounted on acidic matboard. Cut down from original size - edges rough & uneven. Upper right corner missing. Damage to other corners. Mat back soiled; surface missing in upper right. Image missing upper left & right & lower right corners; damage to right and left edges. Damage to negative or print error caused dark smudges to image at upper right, lower right edge & lower left. Surface soiled, scratched & crazed.Collection
