Update July 2011: Black & white studio portrait on grey mat. Image of a young boy standing beside a heavy dark & floral drape. He wears a white, long sleeve shirt with large collar trimmed in eyelet & lace. Cuffs of shirt & front tie have the same trim. he has dark, short pants with three buttons on the outside of legs,dark long socks & lace up shoes. He has on a plaid, flat, short brim hat. His right hand is holding on to the edge of the drape that is parted behind him. Printed on bottom of mat: "Brown Rawlins, Wyo."
Written on back in blue ink: "Foster Johnson, Rawlins. Son of Charlie Johnson who had a livery stable in Rawlins in the early days located where the Rawlins National Bank now stands"
Good condition. Mat top right corner badly creased & paper broken accretion, soiled, fingerprints, scuffed.Collection
