Miss Jennie Watson, Sept. 20, 1892. This belonged to Edwin M. Cruichshank of Medicine Bow. By Baker of Carbon.
Update 2009: Black and white cabinet care with print affixed to ivory colored matboard. Outer edges are gilded gold; bottom edges have scallop design. Portrait of a young woman with brown hair in an updo with three rows of curled bangs curled to the back. She has dark eyes. She is wearing a puffed sleeved rolled collar velvet (?) jacket with decorative soutache braid seen at neck edge and a single strand of pearls above braid. The top row of braid has a broch attached. Bottom of mat has scripted name Baker on left, a tiny decorative emblem in the center and tiny print Carbon, Wyoming on right all in gold.
Written on back in black ink: Miss Jennie Watson Carbon Sept 20th 1892.
Good condition. Slight soiling. Wrinkle. Tiny residue remnant on back. Slight soiling on front edges. Minor imperfections in emulsion from scuff, scratches and small streak. Wear on corners.Collection
