Frame is missing. Photograph of Eddie Rickenbacker and his co-pilot who landed in Rawlins. Date unknown. Seven local men were at the airport and their photo was taken with the pilot. Ross Alcorn, William Mills, I. W. Dinsmore, Charles Haines, Eddie Rickenbacker, Jimmy Murray, Hans Larsen, Rev. King, Duncan Campbell.
Update 2/2008: Sepia print. Snapshot. Image of a group of 9 men posed in front of a bi-plane (two winged aircraft). All are bundled up against the cold in coats. Two men at center in heavy coveralls and light suits; all but one are wearing hats or caps-man at center is bare-headed. 10th man appears to be working on the plane engine at upper left. Patches of snow on the ground.
