B&W of unknown man, head and torso is showing. You can see the bullet entry wound in the back of his head, May 9, 1957.
Update 2009: Black and white print. Image of a man lying face down in a pool of blood. Head is resting on step in front of serving bar. Top of bar stool at right . Man is wearing jean jacket and jeans. He has been shot in the back of the head. Left arm is in a different position from subsequent photos (see 2001.839.0001 and 0003). Victim may have been moved from this position.
Written on back in blue ink: "HF May 9, 57. JWF May 9 57".
Written on back in pencil: "#1".
Back badly soiled. Emulsion irregular; paper warped on edge.
One negative (2 3/16 x 3 7/16). One contact print (2 1/2 x 3 9/16). Written on back in pencil: "#1". Soiled and stained. Emulsion irregular. Horizontal bend above center-emulsion cracked.
