1919, sheepherders wagon and three unknown men.
Update - 2009: Black & white glossy print of a large sheep wagon with door ajar exposing the inside stove & stovepipe which extends through canvas roof. The open dutch doors have a wash pan placed on a lower bracket area. The wagon tongue extends from underneath wagon and lays on ground at enter front. A man dressed in dark pants & jacket stands to side right of wagon tongue. He has his hands placed in his trouser pockets. A fedora type hat covers his hair, placed at an angle. Two men at photo side left of tongue are dressed in dark type clothing with man at center holding a large black dog in an upright position by holding on to the dog's upper body with his hands under the dogs paws. Man at far side left is wearing a leather? apron over his dark pants. A large barn is seen at the side left with door ajar.
Written on back in red ink: #275 taken for C. Johnson in 1919.
Stamped on back in black ink: Frank J. Meyers, Photographer, Rawlins, Wyo.
Good condition with wear on all edges with nicks in emulsion exposing paper on side left at various areas along edge. Large crease with resulting crack in emulsion on side right corner. Several small scuffed shaped cracks & creases are seen along upper edges of print surface. Other miscellaneous cracks are seen throughout emulsion surface.
