Lou Nelson's Billiard Parlor and Bowling Alley under Jungquist Hardware.
Update - 2009: Sepia(?) print. Snapshot. Mounted on grey-green matboard. Image of the interior of a bar/bowling alley. Stand for different sized balls row of bentwood chairs & spittoon at left side. Counter with display case of smoking supplies on top "backbar" with bottles/boxes and spittoon in right back corner. Shotgun on one side of "backbar" & guitar on the other side. "No Credit" sign at right. Scoreboard on backwall. Man standing behind counter leaning on top with right arm. He is in a dark 3-piece suit & white shirt with high starched collar.
Written on back in pencil: "L.J.N." "Obituary (1968) of Lou Nelson says he had a billiard parlor under the Junquist Hdw (which burned in 1906) and is now the corner of the Miller Block."
Stamped on back in black ink: "Carbon County Museum Box 52 Rawlins, Wyoming 82301".
Mounted on acidic matboard. cut down from original size - edges rough & uneven. Mat back soiled. Liquid stains on mat front on left side & lower edge. Image surface badly soiled & scratched. Emulsion cracked at right side.
