Erick Erickson, third from left, born in Lysik, Sweden and came to America in 1903. This photo is a UP work crew standing by an Engine #1655.
Update 6/2010: Black and white print on tan mat of a train engine with 7 men standing beside. Engine is identified as: "#1655". It has a cow catcher on the front, a bell, smoke stack and 2 round top cylinder shaped attachments on top. Front is horizontal tank shaped with engineers compartment behind and coal bin behind that. Written beneath man 3rd from left in blue ink: "Daddy". Typed on white tag attached to back: "Erick Erickson (third from left). Born in Lysik, Sweden. Arrived in America 1903. Submitted by Ellen Erickson. Saratoga, Wyoming." In pencil: "Janet Johnson".
Condition good. Faded, creased, scratches, rubbed, accretion, mat soiled, written on, accretion, corners worn and paper missing, left lower corner creased.Collection
