Calamity Jane in a leather Indian dress, 8X10.
Update 2008: Black and white copy print 8 1/8 x 10 of a young Calamity Jane dressed in a leather dress with fringe on sleeves, pockets, dress bottom edge, holding a rifle in both hands with her right hand clasping the rifle butt and her forefinger on the trigger .She has dark long hair with curled bangs and hair gathered at the back an draped after her right shoulder. There are beaded? medallion around the top of bottom edge of dress an don pocket and sleeve. She is wearing a beaded bracelet on right wrist and large hoop earrings. She has some type of decoration around her neck that hangs down her front torso like strings. She is wearing light colored boots with beaded medallion on top of foot portion. She has some type of small hat on her head possibly with feather in it.
Photo print has distortion on sides from development process as well as dark spots throughout. There is a large crack mark at an oblique angle through entire print from the original. Worn emulsion on photo's edges. Which showed as a jagged black line on this copy. Photo is soiled and discolored at all edges with yellowing and smudge, fingerprints on back sides . Slight tears and abrasions at various locations on surface.
