Update - 2009: Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of three men, one woman & a dog gathered in front of a vintage automobile with a tablecloth set for a picnic on the ground in front of them. Boxes for "table" at front left & center. Bottles, metal dishes, bowls & cups all around. Man seated on automobile bumper appears to be eating a donut. Woman is standing at left with cup in left hand & spoon in right; she is wearing a dark dress & light-colored full apron. Fence, brush & hills in background; cloth appears to be draped over fence wire.
Written on back in blue ink: "unidentified snapshot[sic] found in the old Morgan Drug Store on Cedar St. Given by Mr. & Mrs. Pat Morgan [.] I think this is Creed McDaniels? who was owner of the Drug Store on Cedar Street at one time. The woman is Mrs. O'Connor. Man sitting on the bumper of the car is Jack Ryan.
Written in pencil on white adhesive label pasted on back: "Picnics."
Badly soiled on back; paper yellowed. Upper right corner bent, emulsion cracked. Emulsion cracked at upper & lower edges & through center. Horizontal stripes just above center - printing/negative anomaly?Collection
