Older couple, Mr. and Mrs. Micheler.
Update 2008: Black and white print. Studio portrait. Elderly couple. Gentleman is sitting on bent wooden chair. He is in a dark three piece suit, with white shirt and no tie. Gentleman has his left leg crossed at the knee over his right leg Gentleman has a beard and mustache. His beard and mustache and hair are grey. The lady is standing to the right side of chair. She has on a dark two piece dress. Shirt is gathered half way down the front and has large lace at bottom of gather. Jacket is buttoned all the way down front. She has ruffled bow at top of buttons and lace collar around neckline. She has her hair pulled back and appears to in a bun on her head. Straw is on the floor.
Card mounted on light colored matboard. Soiled around edges .A few small dents in emulsion. Stamped across center of print in pink ink: Printed backward, is "A H Talbot, Photographer." Back of print appears to have been removed from some paper as there is evidence of pieces of black being torn off when removed. Written in blue ink: "Mr. and Mrs. Micheler". Back is soiled.Collection
