Update 2008: Black and white print. Photo of young African American girl. Girl is standing with her right hand clutching the dark half of a drape. Drape has ruffles at top and bottom half is a flower design. Girl has on a knee length dark colored dress. Dress has light and dark small stripes from neckline a fourth of the way down the front of dress. Sleeves are long and are puffy all the way down. Attached dark cape over the shoulders. Edges of cape are white trimmed. Girl has on dark long stockings and high buttoned shoes. Her hair is parted down the middle and pulled back and tied with a big bow. On the girls left is a lace curtain and base of a slim tall pillow. Floor is light.
Photo mounted on matboard (dark). Printed on bottom of matboard "Brown-Rawlins, Wyo.". All four corners are damaged. Emulsion is scratched. On back written in blue ink: " Edith Campbell (worked for Dr. Baker)." Back soiled upper right side.Collection
