She has on high button shoes. She appears to be sitting on a high stool with her feet resting on a small covered stool. She has her right hand resting on her right knee an her left hand resting on her right wrist. She has a very short hair style. Back ground has birds and trees.
Card appears to have been burnt on upper right edge and lower right side. Photo mounted on matboard and is soiled. Emulsion scratched and soiled. Left side and bottom edge heavily soiled. Matboard has top layer torn off from left lower side up middle and over to right side. Back has printed in sepia "Young-Osage City, Kas." Printed in blue ink "Lillie Clay?"Collection
