Black and white 8.5 x 11.5 scanned copy of reproduction of old photo done by Meyers Photos in April 1973. Picture of filling station which became Shorty's Garage in 1100 block of West Spruce.
Update 2009: Black & white scanned copy of service station & cafe. Building has a steep roof with three dormer windows. Front center of building has inverted "V" protrusion entry with two windows & an arch door. A chimney on photo left side of building is from ground through roof. On photo right is canopy extension over gravity fed glass top gas pumps. A vintage car is parked under canopy. To right of pumps are garage doors. Signs above arch door reads: "Cafe" "Fishers Tavern" Sign on pole in front of service reads: "Red Crown Gasoline"
