Black and white old picture of Signe Gustafson. Youthful Signe is wearing white embroidered blouse with black jet bead necklace and brooch at throat. Upswept hairdo. Photo attached to stiff grey cardboard and has been trimmed and was once oval. "Ladies gold watch" written on back of photo. Donor's (Lynn) maternal grandmother.
Update 5/2010: Black and white studio portrait on brown mat of a woman. Her hair is curled on sides and front and pulled up on top. She wears a white lace and eyelet dress with high collar and long sleeves. Her bead necklace has two dangles that are looped beads. Mat has been cut down from original oval shape print on large mat.
Written on back in pencil: "Signe Gustafson" "Ladies gold watch".
Condition good. Mat cut down, print liquid spots, accretion, scratches.Collection
