Sepia toned photograph of the Ferris Mansion (?) 1900, located on the corner of Maple and Sixth. Photo shows front view (Maple) of the Mansion and sideview of the carriage house. "Just completed Walks not in" written on photo. Photo mounted on gray - tan stiff cardboard. In good condition.
Update 2009: Black and white print mounted on taupe matboard. Home of Mrs. Julia Ferris-Miller-Whittum. Queen Ann style architecture. Very ornate home. Three upper levels. Lower level is larger, lighter colored, rectangular rocks. First level is darker brick. Left side entry has 4 columns. White railing surrounding round porch. Roof is tile top with spiral on top, edges scalloped white. Second level is dark brick with continuation of spiral tower from first level. to top of second level. Windows around all levels of tower spiral. Third level has two peaked roofs of tile. Spiral roof has white steeple. Right side of house has porch roof and three columns. Carriage house to left of house. Steeple on roof. Two story structure. Fence in foreground on a rock wall. Dirt street. Chimney to left of spiral tower.
Written on back at top in pencil: "Home of Mrs. Julia Ferris-Miller-Whittum, Rawlins, Wyo. Just completed. Walks not in."
Condition good. Ink stain on left, corners scuffed.Collection
