Christmas card with a photographic print. On the left side is a sepia tone photograph of a family of four - a father, mother and two sons sitting in a living room, the youngest has a book open that all are looking at. On the right is printed the following message, "With sincere wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year". Written in blue ink is "1938" and "See not on back Edward, Edith, Bill and James Burger Daley, 1938". On the reverse is written the following:
Dearest Mother -
The work is and isn't as hard as I could have wished. However I thought you would like to see us "at home". Wish we could all be together for this season - the children have so much fun. I am happy Bob and family will be able to come up for we should have fun. Jimmy is nuts about Santa and Bill is a good boy about peeping up.
