Ruby Carlson Bowen born in Rawlins June 11, 1902 to Nels P. and Kristina Carlson. Graduated from Rawlins High in 1920. Wed Charles M. Bowen in 1924. He worked for General Petroleum Corp. and the couple lived in Texas and California before returning to Rawlins in 1938. She had two daughters and a son who died in infancy.
