Update 2/2010: Sepia print. Snapshot. Mounted on grey matboard. Image of a steam locomotive and passenger cars(?) at a depot in the middle of the prairie. Large building with smokestack in background. large group of people standing along side train; buckboard parked near depot building. single power/telegraph/telephone pole and line connecting depot and running out of scene at right edge.
Written on back in blue ink: "First train to come into the new station 1901". In pencil on white adhesive label pasted to back: "Locomotives" "4445". Stamped twice on back in purple ink: "Oct. 4, 1901".
Mounted on acidic matboard. Corner damage. Mat front and image spotted with ink in upper left. Image soiled with fingerprints, emulsion cracked at right center. Soiled. Faded.Collection
