Update 2009: The first photograph is Black and white print of young lady lying on a porch rail. She is lying on her stomach with right hand under her head and left hand under her chin. She is wearing a dark cap with short front brim, elastic back and top bottom all trimmed with light colored stripe. She wears a striped sailor shirt with large collar and dark pants with light colored buttons on side at waist. Dark leather lace up shoes are on her criss-crossed feet, over the porch rail, with knees hanging down. A decorative carved post is at her had and cut wood beneath rail. She has rings on her right hand on two fingers. Clapboard house behind her. Written on back in pencil: "Helen 7 years old, daughter". Print mounted on dark grey mat. Condition good. Top left corner broken off, edges and corners worn, print scratched, emulsion impacted, fingerprints.
Update 2013: The second photograph was a framed photograph of a young child in a hat, laying on a banister, "Helen McMicken." Removed from frame for conservation purposes. On backing of frame it said Helen McMicken. Was given T3247 during the inventory. The photograph is matted in tan matte. Update 5/2013: This print is located in file Cabinet 1, Drawer 3.Collection
