Description

Original black and white photo of early day (1920's) Ferris Oil Camp. The back of the picture is imprinted with Good Kodak Finishing, Meyers, Rawlins, Wy. Picture is 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" wide and has a handwritten notation "a fairly good picture of Ferris Camp." Yellow cast to print, one edge is bent, otherwise good condition. Update - 2009: Image of two rows of "trailer-shaped buildings set on an open prairie. Wide dirt road through center curving right at end of building row on right. Oil derrick & mesa in background at left. Stamped on back in purple: "14". Paper curling. Lower right corner bent - emulsion cracked. Cracks on emulsion through center & at left. Slight silvering in dark areas. 1 8 1/2 x 11 scanned copy print.
