Photo: This is a black and white glossy photo, size 5" x 3 1/2", of the back of the mess/cook shack at the Civilian Conservation Corp Camp, Rawlins, Wyoming. There are three unknown men in the picture. Written in ink on the back of the picture is, "1939, Back of Mess/ Cook Shack, CCC Camp, Rawlins".
Update 2009: Three men standing on wooden stairs at the back of an "L" shaped building. Large trash cans and rectangular bundles raised above ground level on railroad rails stuck in cement in center foreground. Building is wood with 4 tall chimney pipes on roofline of left section, rectangular windowed "room" at apex of roof. Pipe chimney and "sawhorse" on roof of other section. Some dirty snow left on grounds.
