Update 2009: Black and white studio portrait of a well dressed man standing. He has on a three piece dark suit, white shirt with stiff, stand up collar. his right hand is in his right pants pocket with thumb out, right hand holding jacket tail back. Button up vest has watch chain from button to under jacket. In his left hand is a baton looking object going back under his left arm. He has on dark Derby hat. Photo mounted on white matboard. Smooth decorative border next to photo. Printed in brown ink on border at bottom left is "W.J. Johnston" Printed in brown ink on bottom right "Photo". Outside edge of mat is cut decoratively, smooth corners with pinking cut on sides and top and bottom.

Condition fair. Crack across middle of picture, lower left corner damaged, soiled. Back soiled and cracked.Collection
