Manon right is hilding the horses reins. Man in center is holding on hoof and appears to be tying it up so it will be held off the ground. Third man at left is watching the proceedings.
Written on back in black ink: "His first pair of new shoes. Mina's bro Ironman holding the broncho. Otto Carroll shooing the flies, well[sic] I am trying to shoe the horse."
Written on back in blue ink: "84 Ranch. Andy Johnson 40 miles South. August 1922."
