Description

Construction of Seminoe Dam, 1936-1940. Update 1/2010: Black and white print. Snapshot. Printed on postcard paper. Unused. Image of four men standing and a log and plank raft this is being pulled by rope up river by a man on the short. Tow other men on the shore are watching the progress. men on the raft are dressed in coveralls and hard hats and appear to be carrying metal lunch pails. Building on top of the tall slope on the far river bank. Printed on back in black ink: Printed on back in black ink:"Post Card" "Correspondence" "Address" [square with squares in corner and AZO for sides around] "Place Stamp Here". Written on back in pencil: "Seminoe Dam Construction 1936-1939." Blue ink: "7". Soiled and yellowed around edges; slight corner damage. Slightly scratched and irregular emulsion.
