Family history lists: Christ (Aasmus) Boisen died in 1883 in a Carbon Mine Accident. Caroline Boisen died 1900. She was a midwife in Elk Mountain after her husband was killed. They had 5 daughters: Mary Hastings (Sacramento, CA); Sarah Olson (Grandmother of John Henberg) of Ft. Collins; Lizzie Kin (Exeter, CA); Nellie Mathison (Laramie, WY) and Annie (Sacramento, CA) married three times. History is in LOGGING THE ROCKIES by Patricia M.
