Description

Looking at south buildings are the machine shop, blacksmith shop, pump shop and warehouse at the constructing of Seminoe Dame, 1936-1940. Update 1/2010: Black and white print. Snapshot. Image of work being performed on the banks of river which runs through a deep ravine with rocky sparsely forested slopes on either side. Various excavating, lifting and hauling machines on left bank, including a Marion Shovel excavating in midground. Buildings and workmen on right back. Written in back ink on white adhesive label pasted to back: "Looking South. Buildings are Machine Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Pump Shop, Warehouse." In pencil" "Seminoe". Back soiled. Corner damage. Emulsion cracked in all four corners. Emulsion cracked, scratched, dented and soiled with fingerprints. paper yellowed.
