Construction through Bagott Canyon for the Saratoga and Encampment Railroad, 1908.
Update 2/2010: Black and white print. Snapshot. Image from above looking down into a river canyon where a railroad track is being constructed along the water's edge. Sagebrush and scrub on rocky hills on either side of river. Bridge has been constructed over the river in the lower right to hold the track.
Written on back in blue ink: "Bagott [sic] [Baggett} Canyon". In pencil: "30".
Paper yellowed. Back soiled, faint lined impression, slightly purple covering back. Corner damage and emulsion cracked. Emulsion cracked throughout. Black spots in sky appear to be from original negative; black pen mark in upper left.Collection
