Tunnel house at the Ferris Haggarty Mine and three copies.
Update - 2009: Black & white print of a birds eye view of a deforested mountain area with timber strewn about on all ground areas. In the foreground are four large linear wooden buildings with high wooden trellis track structures entering building on side left of print foreground. A narrow wooden covered structure winds from this building to another building in distance at center side left. Other tracks emanate from this building & extend across side left to side right of image. Wooden tramway supports are seen extending down into the valley floor & beyond. Stacks of cut timbers are seen at image center area.
A small 94 in white from negative process is seen at lower right corner.
Written on back in black ink: Tunnel House at the Ferris Haggarty Mine.
A tiny white label at back side left has Ferris Haggerty written in pencil on it.
Good condition. Print has heavy soiling on all edges front & back. There are developing black lines on outer edges & top right corner. All corners are worn with tear at top right. Minor scratches in emulsion side right. Back surface of print has tape remnant at top edge, ink spots, pencil scribbling & other soiling.
There are 3 copies of this print: 3 3/4 x 4 3/4" all good condition.
Copy 1 is lighter in color than original. Has minor scratch at front center right.
Copy 2 has a white line on side left from developing process. Minor scratches in emulsion side left with small abrasions in two areas.
Copy 3 has minute scratches at center right. Written on back in black ink: Tunnel House at the F.H. MineCollection
