Machinery building at the Ferris Haggarty Mine for the power bucket hoisting was built before the tramline was erected.
Update - 2009: Black & white glossy print of a large wooden building with a high pitched roof through which three tall vertical black smoke stacks arise. Building appears to have wooden supports at base with far side supported at ground. A deforested hill is seen in background with other wooden tripod structure & tower like structure at mid hill level. A small outbuilding is seen side left. A dirt road in foreground crosses over a timbered drainage ditch. A few evergreens are seen on side left. Printed from negative in white at lower right corner 55.
Written on back in blue ink: "Bldg at mine. Machinery for power bucket hoisting. Built before tram line erected."

Good condition. Developing process created black lines around image at top and side left edges of print. Print has wear & soiling on all edges with bent corner at lower right. There are tiny black dots at several locations at top of print. A dark shadow is seen at side left. There are several creases in emulsion on side left & right with resulting cracks in emulsion. Wrinkling at various locations at top area. Back of print is highly smudged with soiling on all edges.
There are 2 copies of the original: 3 1/2 x 4 7/8", both good condition.
Copy 1 - has few minor scratches, written on back in black: "Bldg at mine. Machinery for power bucket hoisting. Built before tram line erected."
Copy 2 - is lighter in color and has several minute, tiny abrasive dots in emulsion surface.Collection
