Machinery at the Smelter at the Ferris Haggarty Mine.
Update - 2009: Black & white print of the interior of a large room filled with various types of heavy machinery units. Side left is a cogged where device close to the wooden planked floor side right has a large two wheeled conveyor belt machine. Two men are standing next to a wooden wall on the far side of this unit. A large center vertical support is seen in middle of the room with small rocks strewn about it's base. Side left of image shows a suspended ore bucket with 41 painted in white. There appears to be multiple sections of flooring in foreground & at side left & right.
Good condition. Print has soiling on all edges. Back surface has dark smudges & fingerprints on side left & other areas. Corners are worn & bent. There are cracks in emulsion at various areas throughout surface. A tiny white line runs horizontally at lower edge from image left to right. Several tiny white dots are located on image surface from developing process. Edges are curling.
There are 2 copies. both good conditions. 3 1/2 x 4 3/4.
Copy 1 has black developing line side right.
Copy 2 is lighter than original & has tiny residue stain at top right corner. Written on back in blue ink: Machinery at smelter at Ferris Haggarty Mine. Small Number 41 is at right corner from negative, there are unknown white words at lower edge (unable to view).Collection
