Smelter at the Ferris Haggarty Mine.
Update - 2009: Black & white print showing the interior of a very large room housing seven? very large metal wheels spaced at intervals on large horizontal metal spindles. A man is standing at image center leaning on an extended spindle next to one of the large wheels. (The wheel is taller than he is). The ceiling shows exposed open beam work for roof supports and a linear wood planked floor. A small half fence type structure is at foreground made from three levels of metal cylindrical pipes. they are adjoined to a vertical pipe at side right. Several white blurry areas are seen due to light source. Image center shows multistrands vertical wires extending from floor to beams above the wheeled area.

Good condition with excessive soiling on print side edges & back surface. Heavy wear at corners with top two & lower right bent & cracked. Small white area at foreground edge from developing process. Unknown flecks & light orange residue on back. Black developing line side left. Small crinkling lines on lower side right.
1 copy 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" lighter than original. good condition.
