Update - 2009: Black & white print affixed to a piece of torn & stained corrugated tan cardboard. Image shows a multistoried wooden building with a side left pitched roof & a side right slanted roof. Far left roof edge also slants. A long narrow building is seen at side left background. Other smaller buildings are seen in background & side right. A small community is seen in far distance on right. An arid, rocky expanse is in foreground.

Poor condition. Print has been irregularly cut at top & bottom edges. Print has been torn from cardboard at lower left corner to mid-center area. There are irregular tears with missing pieces on side right. There are wrinkles across top surface from the ripply cardboard. A puncture at center top has created a tear in surface. There are brown flecks of residue at many locations on print surface. Glue residue is seen on lower side left & lower bottom edge. The cardboard backing is torn off on side right on back surface. A large stain is at lower right corner on cardboard. Corners are bent & worn. There is a dark shadowy effect to print, especially in foreground & side left & right top edges.
There are two copies. both 3 1/2 x 4 3/4". The defects of wrinkling, flecks, & shadows all seen in these copies.
Copy 1 has small scratches on side right. Written on back in black ink: Ferris Haggarty Mine.
Copy 2 has no writing on back. Emulsion in good condition.Collection
