Update - 2009: Black & white print attached to a ragged edged corrugated cardboard. Image shows the interior of a very large dirt floored room with floor to ceiling beam support on right. The back wall is a corrugated sheet metal structure which is raised to a mid level on side left & center and at a lower level on side right. there is a drum like smeltering furnace with a pothole like opening on front side through which molten or is poring out into multiple ingot trays loaded on a small ground level four wheeled low level cart. This cart is on a dual rail track on which another cart is seen at a distance in front of it. A man wearing dark clothing & a hat is standing in front of the ingot cart. There is other smelter equipment in this room including a boiler? lying on the ground at side left & other unknown units with multiple small pipes on side right. Photo is dark in foreground & daylight creates rays & shadows on print surface at center & side right.

Poor condition with many tears & erosion on all side edges with large irregular pieces of photo print missing. The cardboard backing has been torn away at side right & top left edges. There is heavy soiling on edges & print surface including unknown specks of orange/brown residue at various location & small stain blotches. There are several tears in top surface from the indention areas of the horizontal lines of the cardboard. There is a larger orange stain mark on cardboard at back surface covering three fourths of area. Glue residue is seen at lower bottom edge as well as other tiny brown specks of unknown origin. There are tiny white areas from developing process. Print has a very wrinkled appearance.
There is one copy, good condition. Copy is lighter in color than original with the lighted areas from daylight appearing as white blotches and blurred areas on image. Measures 3 1/2 x 4 3/4". A fingerprint is seen side right on surface.Collection
