Description

A 98 German Mauser WWII Bayonet manufactured by Berg and Co, 1940. (The blade should be blued, it has been polished). It measures 9.84" long. #648 has Third Reich eagle imprinted on the press stud. The metal sheath for the bayonet was made by "Elite-Diamant" 1939 with # 4851 imprinted on top end of it. Both of these items used in WW I & II. Knife Bayonet 1915-1945. Overall length: 15", handle is brown plastic. Length Guard to Pommel 5 1/4". Width of blade 1/4" average x 1" stock tapering to point for 3". Sheath 10 3/4" long with ball final or tip. 1 1/4" wide, 1 1"2 " thick, with a frog and a metal throat.
