Large nautilus fossil shell cast. Matrix is mostly shades of brown, with white squiggly lines running all over the surface; these lines may be the remnants of the septa (dividing walls) between the growth chambers. Approximately 10" x 8" x 2.25". Note: Crack found in shell, handle with care. Kingdom: Animalia (Animals) Phylum: Mollusca
