Update - January, 2010: Black & white print attached to grey matboard which has a decorative border around print & on outer edge. A tiny decorative embossed emblem on lower right corner reads: F.T. Nakago, Hanna, Wyo.
Image is of the interior of an early day store. The scene is an angle view & shows two long glass cases at a right angle. The cases hold large cuts of meat. The tops of glass counters have several clear glass bowls with merchandise in them. There are several white bowl dishes with glass lids (side right). The store is decorated for Christmas with streamers & crepe paper bells at ceiling & over counters.
There are three men behind counters on which No. 1, 2, & 3 have been written in black ink. Written on lower edge of matboard in black ink: 1. Jimmy Massy 2. S.D. Briggs (Same has been written on back of matboard.)
Written on center front of photo: Old U.P. Store, Hanna Meat Market.
A sign on wall side right: A Merry XMAS. A wooden floor is seen in foreground.
Written on back in black ink: "Donated by" Stamped in black ink: "S. D. Briggs".
Condition: Good. Matboard edges are worn & several corners are missing. Front & back surfaces are slightly soiled. Several tiny smudges on back. Print is good condition.
One 5 x 6 13/16" black & white copy print. Written in pencil on white adhesive label pasted to back: "Hanna".
Good condition. A few small dents in emulsion.Collection
