Pot-bellied wood burning stove at center with small table behind and to the left. Men are in uniform-one man is lying on his stomach on a cot. Another is sitting at the end of a cot. Another individual is lying on a cot in the background. Three men are standing-one behind the stove, the other two at the table. Two men are seated at the table. men at the table are looking at correspondence and pointing to an envelope. Two windows with blinds in back wall; hanging light and wall clock between windows on wall. Shelves and hooks on left wall. Written in black in above head of man behind and left of stove: "X".

Badly soiled and yellowed. Water liquid damage on upper left side. Lower left corner bend and emulsion cracked; slight damage to other corners. Tear in right side below center. Emulsion cracked at angel to left from tear. Emulsion crazed at center left side. Pin hole at center top and center bottom.Collection
