Winter in Wyoming by J. W. Benson, 1949. Texas Longhorns.
Update 1/2008: A black and white print of an original painting by J.W. Benson, cowboy artist, of a heavy snow filled area with mountains and trees and five Longhorn and one without horns foraging in the snow. A dead Longhorn steer lies in the foreground on right.
The print is in fair condition as it is extremely soiled with tape stains and adhesive residue as well as black scuff marks across top and middle of print. Various yellow stains on side, left and right. There is an adhesive tape stain across entire back of card at an oblique angle from one side to the other. There are black scuff marks on lower and upper edges of card back. A slight vertical wrinkle at center front.
