Update - 2009: Black & white studio portrait. Mounted on off-white matboard. Full length portrait of a young girl dressed in a floor length, 3/4 sleeve sack dress with lace accents at collar & cuffs; large bows at neck & shoulders. She is standing with her left arm resting on a wood table(?) that is hidden behind a heavy hanging curtain. Painted backdrop behind & fur underfoot. Her hair is loose & curled.
Printed in brown ink on lower mat margin: "W.T. Johnson, Rawlins, WYO".
Written on back in pencil: "Arlisse" Dow Hootman (Vivian Hootman Houser's mother)"
Written on back in black ink: "copied".
Written in pencil on white adhesive label, pasted on back: "Dow".
Mounted on acidic matboard. Liquid damage along center right side on back. Slightly impacting front as well. Back soiled. Surface missing at top edge from tape removal. Dent at center bottom. Corner damage. Mat front soiled. Image surface slightly soiled. Spot at center bottom.
2- 4 7/8 x 3 1/2" black & white copy prints. Written on back in black ink: "Arlisse Dow Hootman".
