Black and white print. Snapshot. Image of a group of men with shovels trying to extricate a snowbound train from a massive snow drift. Telephone/power pole at center background. Hugh wall of snow on either side of particular dug-out track. Engine number "x 3949". Blizzard of 1949. Paper curled. Emulsion surface cracked and crazed. Wrinkled on top edge.
