A black and white glossy reprint 3 1/2 x 5 of a caboose on photo left and a train engine on photo right, with other cars attached stuck in extremely deep snow from the blizzard of 1949. The foreground shows where the snow had been plowed to create a path on the right front side along engine and its cars. There is a high block of snow between caboose and engine with a man dressed in dark clothing standing on far side near train engine. The Union Pacific logo is in the center of engine end showing in photo.
Photo has dark line at bottom edge as though improperly cut.
