Update 1/2010: Black and white print. Studio portrait. Oval. Mounted on tan patterned matboard with raised oval '"frame" around image. Half-length portrait of two women-identical twins- dressed in light colored lace dresses with high collars and ruffles. There hair is tied back. Painted backdrop behind.
Engraved in silver in lower right corner of mat front: "McCormick Quincy, Ill.".
Written on back in pencil: "The Smith Twins, Frances and Josephine."
Mounted on acidic matboard. Corner and edge damage. Mat back soiled, scuffed along lower edge. Ink marks on mat front at center right. Image surface scratched.Collection
