Black and white matte print of the beginning of construction of the Masonic Lodge. The lower sandstone brick wall with the side framed basement type windows are built as well as front stairs and side sandstone walls on either side of stairs. Lumber is stacked on front of building leaning against bottom level. Saw horses with wooden beams across them are to the front of the side windows. Bare ground shows in photo foreground with a two story house with three gabled windows on top level are seen in background. Other construction type debris to the right of building.
Photo is in fair condition. Yellow discoloration and tears at top edge. Soiling on all sides and front and back surface. There is a developing irregularity of a white space 1 1/8 inch wide on right side as well as white scratch marks from negative on photo left side.
