Description

Sharkey the famous bucking bull, 1913. Update 2009: Black and white print. Printed on postcard paper. Image of a cowboy wearing dark woolly chaps, being thrown upside down from the back of a bull. Grandstand with spectators barely visible in background. Written on original negative at center bottom: "C 1913 (Doubleday & Gustin)." Written on original negative at lower left: "Sharkey" the famous bucking bull". Printed on back in black ink: Postcard" {Left side} Correspondence" {right side} "Address" {Upper right} Square with "AZO" on each side "Place Stamp Here" in center. Unused. Paper slightly curled. Yellowed. Soiled and scuffed. Slight corner damage.
