Black and white print affixed to dark green mat with decorative gold line border around print on mat extending around lower bottom. Between photo and lower edge is golden lettering, Bigden, in the center is a highly decorative B in gold and Buffalo in gold is printed in right. Photo is a studio print of a woman with dark swept back hair in an updo and dark eyes. She is wearing a dark jacket with small fabric covered buttons and Peter Pan type collar. A white blouse collar shows at top of suit collar . She has small dark ball earring dangling from right ear.
Written in blue ink on lower left of print: Aunt Maggie Pond.
Written on back of card in small decorative gold script: C. W Bigden Artist & Photographer, at various angles. Established 1856. 252 Main Street. Buffalo, NY. A gold decorative border surrounds this writing.
Good condition with wear on edges and corners. Slight soiling with a few tiny blotches in emulsion. Small abrasive marks seen in vertical line on left side.Collection
